This traditional Swiss hotel is located on a hillside above Mürren and offers fine wooden interiors and a large sun terrace with panoramic views of the Blumenthal and the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau Mountains. Free WiFi is available. Behind a wooden exterior, Pension Sonnenberg offers rooms with authentic wooden panelling, a work desk and windows with traditional Swiss-style shutters. Some rooms have a balcony with scenic views. A continental breakfast awaits guests every morning. A selection of Swiss specialties is served in the Sonnenberg’s restaurant. In winter, the property offers direct access to a ski slope, and a ski storage room is available. In summer, many hiking trails start at the doorstep. The guesthouse is reachable by the Allmendhubel Cable Car, followed by a 10-minute walk. The cable car also takes you to the ski area in winter. Alternatively, you can take the steep walk from Mürren, which takes about 40 minutes, or take a taxi.

Please note that Mürren is a car-free village. The last cable car from Stechelberg to Mürren runs at 23:45 (Sunday until Thursday) and 0:55 (Friday and Saturday). Please note that the last train to the Allmendhubel leaves at 17:00. After this time you can take a taxi until 22:00. If you expect to arrive after 21:00, please inform Pension Sonnenberg in advance.
