Just 400 metres from Oamaru Beach, Highway House offers rooms with free WiFi, free breakfast and lovely garden views. It features barbecue facilities, a children’s playground and a guest lounge with a flat-screen TV. Highway House Bed and Breakfast is 3 minutes’ drive from Oamaru Train Station, and 10 minutes’ drive from the popular Oamaru Blue Penguin Colony. There are a variety of restaurants and cafes within 15 minutes' drive. All rooms have a seating area, and include fluffy bathrobes and slippers. Each room is heated, and has feather duvets and electric blankets. Some rooms also have cable TV.
