With spectacular bay views, this Mediterranean-style hotel from 1866 offers large, bright rooms, swimming pools and a health club, all 10 minutes’ walk from Torquay town centre. The cliff-top Imperial Hotel overlooks Torbay and the yachts on the water. The beach, Torre Abbey and the English Riviera Centre are within walking distance. This 4-star hotel offers a gym, spa, sun beds, a sauna and a bath spa. There are squash and tennis courts, and massages and treatments can be booked. Fine cuisine is served in the AA Rosette-awarded Regatta Restaurant, along with fine wines and panoramic views of Torbay. Lighter snacks are available in Britannia Bar and Conservatory. Rooms are light and airy and include a seating area with easy chairs and coffee table.

Please note that there is a smart-casual dress code in the hotel restaurant. The pool is sometimes used for swimming lessons (check for times). Guests can still use the pool at these times. Children are welcome to use the swimming pool until 19:30. The swimming pool is adult only Monday - Friday between 19:30 and 21:00. Please note that children aged 5 and over will be charged for breakfast and dinner as taken. Pets can be accommodated in some bedrooms for GBP 10 per night per pet, subject to availability and by prior arrangement. Guests will be required to present the payment card used to make the reservation upon check in. Failure to present the original card will result in the deposit payment being refunded back to the original card and a new charge being taken from the card presented at the hotel.
