Un hôtel familial, avec animations en soirée par les hôtes. A 8 kilomètres à l'est de Durham, à Haswell Plough sur la B1283. John et Dorcas Milner sont les propriétaires du Gables Hotel depuis 20 ans, et habitent au village de Haswell Plough depuis 36 ans. Le Gables est un petit hôtel familial, qui jouit d'une très bonne réputation pour sa cuisine anglaise recherchée. Il a été conseillé par le AA et Les Routiers. Le restaurant est petit mais confortable.
