Los Tambos is an elegant hotel in Arequipa, a city constructed entirely from white volcanic rock. It offers a rooftop terrace with views of Misti Volcano and adventure sports excursions. The front desk at Los Tambos can arrange a 2-day regional mountain bike tour, or rafting on Chili River. Guests can visit the Andean Sanctuaries Museum, or relax with a coca tea in front of the cosy fireplace. Rooms at Los Tambos have brown tiled floors with large floodlit windows and patterned bedding. All are equipped with LCD and cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Some have a king-size bed. An American breakfast with fruit salad, bread rolls and eggs cooked to order is served daily. Los Tambos is one block from Plaza de Armas, which offers several lively restaurants. Guests at Los Tambos can contact the hotel to arrange an airport shuttle service.

Please note the property only credit cards to guarantee a reservation, not debit cards. Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee. Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.
