Located directly on the slopes, 50 metres from the ski lifts in Holzgau/Gföllberglift Ski Area, Gasthof Bären offers 2 on-site restaurants and a spa centre featuring various sauna facilities, relaxation room, a massage parlour and refreshments bar. Free Wi-Fi access is available in communal areas. The Bären’s rooms have satellite TV and mountain views. The private bathroom come with a bathtub or shower. Some units have a balcony. Every morning breakfast is available for guests and is served buffet style. International and traditional Austrian dishes can be chosen from the rich menu, and enjoyed on the south-facing terrace. Different winter hikes are organised by the owner, who is a certified mountain guide. Tobogganing trails start right beside the property and equipment is available for rental as well. In summer, hiking trails can be accessed directly from the premises and both the Holzgau Suspension Bridge and the Simms Waterfall are only a few minutes away. A kids’ playroom with billiard and table football is also part of the enteratinment on the premises. Free private parking is provided on site. Ski Area Warth am Arlberg is 12 km away, and the free ski bus stops right in front of Bären Gasthof. Within a radius of 5 km, there are indoor pools in Steeg and outdoor pools in Bach.

Please note that the road between Lech and Warth is closed in winter. The hotel can only be reached via Reutte (B198) or the Bregenz Forest (B200).
