This former monastery in Konstanz is located on a small private island on the edge of Lake Constance. It has soundproofed rooms, free breakfast and 13th-century wall paintings. Steigenberger Inselhotel is a 10-minute walk from Konstanz Central Station and historic Old Town centre. Regional and international specialities are served in the Dominikanerstube and in the See-Restaurant. A bar, café and lakeside terrace are also available. All rooms at the Steigenberger have Sky-TV, a safe and a minibar. Spa and fitness facilities include a gym and sauna. Rental bicycles are also available for exploring the streets of Konstanz.

Dogs are welcome at this hotel in specific rooms. There will be a charge of € 25 per day (without food). In order to respect other guests, dogs are not allowed in the Seerestaurant, the sauna and fitness areas as well as at the lakeside beach. Furthermore it is compulsory to keep dogs on a leash on the Island.
