Located directly on the shore of Lake Attersee, See-Hotel Post offers a private sandy and pebble beach with a lakeside sauna, a tennis court, a bowling alley, and a large park with a sunbathing lawn. The restaurant serves classic Austrian cuisine. In fine weather, guests can dine in the garden overlooking the lake. Past guests have included Empress Sisi of Austria, the composer Gustav Mahler, and the pianist Friedrich Gulda. Rooms at the See-Hotel Post am Attersee overlook the lake or park and come with a flat-screen cable TV and a bathroom. Some have a balcony. Free WiFi access is provided in public areas. A pedal boat can be used free of charge, and free private parking is available on site. At an additional cost, guests can rent bicycles, mountain bikes, and electric bikes.
