In the scenic residential district of Neustift am Walde in Vienna, Hotel Schild is surrounded by vineyards and traditional Viennese wine taverns (Heurigen). Free WiFi and wired internet access are available. The spacious rooms feature cable TV, a DVD player, and a seating area. Individually adjustable air conditioning is available in all rooms. Bathrobes and slippers are available on request. The Schild Hotel's restaurant serves a daily breakfast buffet, small dishes, and Viennese pastries and coffee. Guests can relax in the large garden which features a terrace and a children’s playground. The city centre is 8.5 km or a 25 to 30-minute public transport ride away. A bus stop (line 35A) is only a few steps from the Schild Hotel and provides connections to the underground line U4. The Vienna Woods can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Private parking garage is available at an additional cost.

Upon check-in, guests are required to show a photo identification and the credit card used for the reservation. Please note that guests without a credit card who pay in cash need to leave a EUR 30 security deposit upon check-in which is fully refundable upon check-out after checking the room. Please note that children under 6 years of age stay free of charge in the parents' bed. Sofa beds are available for a surcharge.
