Grande Albergo Miramare once belonged to Queen Helena of the Italian royal Savoy family. Offering a private beach, a large garden with swimming pool and sea views, it is 3 km from Formia town centre and train station. Rooms at this 4-star hotel are air conditioned and have a classic design. They all feature an LCD TV, a minibar and a private bathroom with a bathrobe and slippers. All rooms offer views of the garden and some have a balcony. You can relax out on the terrace where you will find plenty of sun loungers and parasols. The Grande Miramare provides free parking and is 5 minutes' drive from Formia Train Station for trains to Rome and Naples. Breakfast is buffet style, while the restaurant offers international cuisine and a wide choice of wines. Gluten-free, diet and children's meals are also available.

The swimming pool is open during summer and is at an additional cost. From June until September the private beach is at an additional cost. Please note that males accessing the restaurant must wear long trousers.
